Outline · [ Standard ] · Linear+ Logan model year

Hey guys! I just got Dacia Logan as second car, year of production is 2008. first date in use is 2010. in really great condition. 112.000 km, 1.4MPI engine. Anyway, I'm little confused by versions of Logan. As I saw it was produced from 2004-2008, second version is from 2008-2012, etc. This mine is 2008, front mask is like first models, but trunk seems to be like newer model. Is it some kind between model? Also, I knew that models produced 2004-2006 have some rust problems, is it the same situation for 2008 models? I mean, I checked all at the mechanic, there is no signs of rust. I also checked gas cap, no rust under it. Photo of the trunk is in attachment. If it means anything, it's LSOE type of car. Is Logan 1 Phase 2 (facelift) - that's why has a slightly different look.

The problem with rust is mostly gone from Phase 2 (facelift) and newer. So your good!

Logan p1 also had some minor changes since 2007 I believe called the "New collection", stuff like opening the trunk without using the key . Also possible it god banged up in the rear and repaired with newer parts.
For the rust issues I think 2009 was the year they changed suppliers for sheet metal and used more galvanised sheet steel for the outer pannels than befre. Check inner rear wheel arches under carpet in the trunk for corrosion.
